Domestic assembly capacity is the supply-side counterpart to the tender boom: every gigawatt-hour tendered needs cells and packs, and a planned 5 GWh-per-year plant in Gujarat helps close that gap. It follows the same localisation wave as AmpereHour Energy’s 5 GWh BESS factory and Pace Digitek’s battery R&D push, all riding the incentives set out in our PLI for ACC battery manufacturing guide.
